The history of the firm comes from 1978 when there was a trial area to culture carps, and the volume of breeding fish amounted to 700 tons a year by 1990. In 1986 the farm fell to raise valuable fish species : trout (Salmo trutta), Siberian white salmon (Stenodus leucichthys), cisco (Coregonus) and beginning from 1989 – sturgeons, which later became the main production of the enterprise. The firm has been holding the leading position at the Russian market in the scope of trading sturgeon culture. In 1996 apart from trading sturgeon culture, the nurture of sturgeons’ breeding stock was chosen as the main strategic direction, - basically it was for to get commercial volumes of fish-producing (aimed at further fish-breeding) and high quality food caviar. The project has been successfully implemented.
In 2006 based on fish husbandry - caviar processing workshop was placed in commission. It is equipped fully in accordance with the latest European standards including all Russian requirements.
 
In late 2006 the manufacturing output of sturgeon caviar has commenced.
Today the enterprise possess the leading place in Russia in the sphere of trading sturgeon culture and production of proper Osetra caviar.
